Stanford choreographers create site specific dances

Stanford's Department of Theatre and Performance Studies showcased six student-choreographed site specific dance pieces in the beautiful Engineering Quad.  The outdoor performance drew students from across campus and was also attended by several faculty, including Professor Janice Ross and Professor John Mitchell, and Choreographer Aleta Hayes. The student choreographers were enrolled in a course taught by Diane Frank.  Student choreographers directed dancers in contemporary pieces and hip hop.
